I think the federal government should still hand out money in the form of Pell grants for students because those Pell grants may be the only way for that person to afford school. I would understand if Romney wanted the private sector to mimic Pell grants, but they could not do it to the magnitude or efficency of the Federal Government.
Pell grants are important and they are the only option for some students, but strict limits and guidelines should be kept in place for the people receiving them.
